Our capabilities include a wide range stamping methods, from progressive, compound, transfer, and compression die stamping to deep drawn, fineblanking, continuous strip, and others.

As part of our competitive strategy, our service model includes production facilities in overseas locations backed up by a U.S. based tool & die and machining operation. EBM works within customer-specified quality requirements to provide solutions that align with their delivery schedules and budget constraints.

With our years of experience as a stamping company, we produce high-quality parts with complex geometries and close manufacturing tolerances. We work with thin gauge to heavy gauge materials, including aluminum, stainless and alloy steel, as well as various exotic metals.

Along with an extensive selection of metals, we also stamp parts from PVC, rubber, and a series of other non-metals. Using powerful software tools to develop intelligent die designs, EBM’s capabilities can:

From sub-miniature to oversize, we handle parts of virtually any size or shape. We build dies to create intricate features, countersinks, tapped or threaded holes, and shape critical or surface critical requirements. Our end-to-end service model also incorporates deburring, heat treating, and finishing as well as assembly in our Wisconsin facility. We handle projects from prototype all the way up to production volumes in the millions.

Production Methods Coining
For complex geometric shapes, squeezes the metal between two dies.Compound Die

Fineblanked
The near-zero clearance and exacting tolerances for fineblanking dies can produce a high quality, net-shape, part—when the dies are relatively new.

However, over time the dies wear. This often results in metal pull-down, creating an extruded edge on features of the part. It is the malleable metals that create the undesirable burr.
