EBM operates a modern tool and die facility at our Wisconsin location.

Staffed by experienced design engineers, tool and die makers, and skilled machinists, our shop is equipped for high-quality tool and die design, fabrication, and build and repair services. We use powerful 2D and 3D modeling tools to develop functional designs and can accommodate the most complex project requirements.

Tool & Die Design

Our design engineers have a full understanding of both plastic and metal material characteristics and perform a thorough analysis of all process conditions. This ensures accurate production while optimizing material usage, decreasing cycle times, and eliminating secondary operations.

Inside our tool and die fabrication shop, our production staff uses the latest machining technologies to produce high precision world-class tooling. From simple single-cavity molds to complicated production tooling, we ensure that our quality workmanship meets or exceeds expectations. We also used advanced measurement and inspection instruments to confirm mold quality, and we perform test runs to ensure part accuracy.

Build & Repair Services

We take molding tool maintenance seriously. In addition to inspecting our own molds and dies regularly for maintenance, we also use our maintenance experience to offer molding build and repair services. While molds used in the injection molding process need to last through many production runs, even high-strength steel molds can wear down, leading to lower quality parts being produced.

EBM’s mold repair services bring your equipment back up specifications. Our precision repair techniques ensure your precision tolerances are held for parts throughout the injection molding process.
